XAHR Secures 100% Placement For Its Current Batch

On the successful completion of “Xuberance”, a Xavier University Bhubaneswar (XUB) placement programme for Xavier School of Human Resource Management (XAHR), a 100% placement has been secured with all 123 students of the 2017-19 batch clinching high profile jobs.

This placement season saw students of XAHR receiving offers from 67 companies across various industries, out of which 37 were new recruiters. A major highlight for the current batch was the PPO/PPIs offered to 19 students.

The DE Shaw emerged as the organization to offer the highest salary to an individual student with an offer of Rs 27.5 lakh per annum, a 30 per cent increase in the highest offer compared to the previous year.

The average salary stood at 12.75 lakh per annum, which is slightly above the last year’s average of Rs 11.88 lakh per annum. While the median salary figure for the current batch stood at Rs 12.20 lakh per annum, the average salary for the top 50 students was recorded as Rs 15.50 lakh per annum.

Xavier University Bhubaneswar (XUB) is a Jesuit, Catholic university established in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. It was sanctioned by the Odisha Legislative Assembly in 2013. Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, which was established by the Jesuits in 1987, is now affiliated to the Xavier University Bhubaneswar.
