IRCTC Introduces ‘Work From Hotel With Nature’ Packages For Puri, Konark, Gopalpur
Catering to the demands of the remote working population, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched a plan specifically for a beach workcation called the ‘Work from Hotel with Nature’. The packages are available for booking in hotels across Puri, Konark, and Gopalpur in Odisha.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a large chunk of the workforce has started working from home, and a few companies are offering this as a permanent option. Working remotely gives employees the freedom to choose any location with good connectivity as their workplace. As a result, working from exotic locations is in demand as more people look forward to club work with vacations.
This package also aims to slowly bring back the confidence to travel in a post-covid world. These are perfect for those who are fed up working from home and want to relax as well as continue with their work routine.
To begin with, IRCTC has introduced packages for a minimum of three nights which can be extended. The three nights and four days package for Puri starts at Rs 6,165 while for Konark it is Rs 12,600 and Rs 19,945 for Gopalpur. These include disinfected rooms, three meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), snacks, secured parking space for vehicle, complimentary Wi-Fi facility, travel insurance. IRCTC assures that strict COVID-19 safety protocols and a high standard of hygiene is maintained. Bookings starting from June 9 can be done online through irctctourism.com or the IRCTC mobile app.
Notably, similar packages were launched by IRCTC in Kerala last month. These packages were made available on a prorated basis, which turned to be a huge success.
