ArcelorMittal Delivers Second Consignment of Over 5000 Oxygen Cylinders to Odisha
ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel (AM/NS) India has delivered its second consignment of over 5000 medical grade oxygen cylinders and 2000 units of flow metres to Odisha. With its generous support, the global steel major is fulfilling its promise of helping Odisha fight the pandemic. Notably, AM/NS had already airlifted over 1300 liquid medical oxygen cylinders to Odisha a fortnight ago.
The second consignment was received by IPICOL MD NB Jawale on Sunday evening. Jawale appreciated the gesture saying that the timely intervention of AM/NS India in oxygen cylinder supply has strengthened the State government’s fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
Executive Director AM/NS India (Odisha operations) Suresha G said, “We recognise that we have a responsibility to support the state governments as they battle through this health crisis. We are confident that through these collaborative efforts, which bring together citizens, communities, governments and industry, will overcome this crisis together.”
AM/NS India had promised to provide more than 5000 oxygen cylinders to Odisha as part of its CSR activity.
